Adventure Stage

Attraction between two mountain lakes

Perfect for nature lovers: An adventurous forest and lakeside route awaits you between Lake Schwarzwassersee and Lake Pardatschersee. There’s a bouldering wall, two creatively designed climbing towers, a mini-zipline and a slackline area. But that’s not all: Many other highlights promise plenty of action. Between all these thrilling attractions, several leisure oases ensure ample relaxation.

The Walk of Lyrics

The two-kilometre Walk of Lyrics is a new section of this adventure hiking trail. Along this route, hikers can immerse themselves in world hits by Rihanna, Udo Jürgens and Sting – all of whom have performed in Ischgl before. At three stations, everything revolves around select songs: You can take in the poetry of the pieces from a purely lyrical standpoint, as pictorial interpretations or through acoustic sound experiences – all while being surrounded by idyllic nature. The Walk of Lyrics has another highlight in store for children, as the treasure of the Fimbabach lies hidden along the way!

The suspension bridges
Sometimes, it’s worth pushing your boundaries and mustering the courage to try something new: The Kitzloch and Bärenfalle bridges – each more than 110 metres long and suspended 70 metres above the Fimbabach river – are well-worth the adventure. Both can be crossed on the Ischgl – Idalp adventure hiking trail, promising spectacular views and an exhilarating adrenaline rush.

Bonus: If you start the Walk of Lyrics from the valley, you can take the Ischgl Skyfly on the way back!

Hike through three alpine vegetation zones

The approximately three-hour, 7.5-kilometre hike starts at Kalvarienberg and leads you through three alpine vegetation zones.

The lower section predominantly covers forested hillsides. Crossing the impressive Kitzloch gorge via the two suspension bridges is a particularly striking experience. After passing the middle station, the trail continues through larch forests towards Idalp. Shortly before you catch your first glimpse of your final destination, the trail leaves the tree line and offers a sweeping panorama of the summery ski area and the surrounding mountains.

Afterwards, families can continue to enjoy themselves in the Vider Truja Adventure Park or indulge in refreshments at Alpenhaus mountain restaurant or at Vider Alp lodge.

Fishing adventures

The tranquil fishing spots at Lake Schwarzwassersee and the cosy barbecue areas at Lake Pardatschersee provide perfect opportunities to unwind at the end of the day.

Are you an avid fishing enthusiast? Then the Trisanna is a must-visit. Flowing through the entire Paznaun region, the river boasts numerous designated spots for angling and fishing along its banks.
