THE WEATHER TODAY
On Thursday, temperatures will drop noticeably as an Atlantic front approaches. We will enter an air mass boundary where cooler air from the north meets warmer air from the south. The air will be humid and there will be an increased risk of showers and thunderstorms. Friday itself will start with some lingering clouds, but it will mostly be dry. Air pressure is rising. However, it’s quite possible that thunderstorms may develop again in some areas later in the day. Temperatures won't be too high. Over the weekend, a weak high-pressure system will prevail, and it will become warmer. Only in the afternoons will large cumulus clouds form, particularly over the mountains, accompanied by local showers and thunderstorms. It’s not uncommon for it to remain completely dry. At the start of the new week, the influence of weather disturbances will generally increase again. However, it is still too early to provide details.
