The winter trail from Ischgl to Mathon is perfect for a relaxed exploration. Easy to walk yet engaging, the route starts at the Silvrettabahn car park. Well-signposted, it first follows the cross-country ski track before branching off onto its own path in the hamlet of Paznaun. Mostly flat, the trail leads towards Mathon. After Mathon, you cross the Valzurbach and reach the wildlife park. Alternatively, you can return to Ischgl on the other side of the Trisanna. The trail is also walkable in reverse.
