Bike & Hike Galtür - Die drei 3000er

The route starts at the information office in the village centre of Galtür. Follow the road towards Jamtal on your bike. Surrounded by beautiful nature, the route climbs steadily uphill on a moderate incline. With a view of the Jamtalferner glacier, you cycle along the road deeper into the valley. There are the following places to stop along the way: Menta Alm alpine pasture (1,657 m) & Scheiben Alm alpine pasture at just over 1,800 m. The Jamtalhütte mountain lodge (2,164 m) is also perfect for a short break, for example on the large sun terrace. Park the bike at the hut and the hike to Breite Krone (3,079 m), Grenzeckkopf (3,047 m) and Bischofspitze (3,029 m) begins. Head east along the Futschölbach stream into the valley and then follow the signs towards Kronenjoch (2,974 m). From here it is only a few metres in altitude to the three 3,000m peaks.

The autoroute (A12 (westbound) or A14 (eastbound)) leads you to the Arlbergschnellstraße (S 16). At the exit for Pians, turn onto the Paznauntalstraße (B 188) and follow its course into the Paznaun.

At the Arzthaus Galtür or at the Sports and Culture Centre Galtür

With the railway station in Landeck, the Paznaun is optimally connected to the Austrian train network. From Landeck-Zams station, only a short bus ride separates you from the Paznaun. Every half hour, line bus 260 runs from there through the valley. Bus stop: Galtür Dorfplatz
