Description
The
double-decker cable car first takes you up to the Alp Trider Sattel mountain
station. From there, an easy downhill section leads down to Planer Salaas
before the trail climbs up to Salaaser Eck and continues through Ravaischer
Salaas. Passing impressive gypsum holes, the route reaches Bergli. A single
trail then leads downhill towards Zeblas. The final descent follows a winding
road down to Samnaun Dorf, with some steep sections requiring particular
attention. In winter, this section becomes the popular piste 80, known as the
Duty Free Run. The Salaaser Kopf Trail leads through impressive alpine scenery
and is particularly suitable for ambitious and experienced e-mountain bikers
and mountain bikers.
