Heroic Easter spectacle in Ischgl
One of the most interesting German pop bands is expected at the traditional Easter concert in Ischgl: Wir sind Helden. The band will really get the fans going on Easter Monday on the Ischgl Idalp.
Live concerts by stars such as Anastacia, The Corrs and Lionel Richie are not only held in Ischgl at the start and end of the season, but music fans are also offered an unforgettable concert experience in the lifestyle metropolis at Easter. The North German band Wir sind Helden will be coming to the Ischgl Idalp on 16 April at 1.00 pm to play a concert for all Ischgl and music fans in front of an impressive mountain backdrop.
Wir sind Helden landed their first big hit with their debut "Die Reklamation" and have been unstoppable ever since. With 500,000 albums sold, they are already in the top league of the music scene. The brilliant start was followed by another hit album: "Von hier an blind" continued the intoxicating success of their debut album. Three Echos, completely sold-out tours and several Harald Schmidt appearances made the band arguably Germany's biggest pop phenomenon. The Berlin band formed in 2001 when singer Judith Holofernes, guitarist and keyboardist Jean-Michel Tourette and drummer Pola Roy met at a "pop workshop" in Hamburg. The group itself describes its music as "synth-punk-pop" and is characterised musically by its enormous versatility - each member contributes their own musical style.
The concert will take place on Sunday, 16 April at 1 pm on the Ischgl Idalp and is open to all music and ski fans with a valid ski pass.
