Viderböden Reservoir

During a summer holiday in Ischgl there is of course also an easy possibility to visit one of the mountain lakes.

At an altitude of 2,300 m lies the Viderböden reservoir, which can either be hiked to or comfortably reached with the Silvrettabahn cable car. After only a 15-minute walk you are already at the lake, which is used as a water reservoir for the snow facilities in winter.

The reservoir has a volume of around 60,000 m³ and is the "heart" of the Ischgl snowmaking system.
