Bike & Hike Ischgl - Piz Munschuns (CH)

This downhill-oriented Bike&Hike tour starts at the valley station of the Silvrettabahn in Ischgl. Take the gondola up to the mountain station at 2,321 m. On the Idalp there are various places to stop for refreshments such as the Alpenhaus mountain restaurant or the Vider Alp mountain restaurant. From there, the Flimjochbahn takes you further uphill to 2,757 m. The border between Austria and Switzerland runs up here. On the Swiss side, a well-maintained mountain bike enduro trail leads down to Alp Trida (2,262 m, CH). Several mountain restaurants are available here for a refreshment stop. The Alp Trida Sattelbahn takes you up to just over 2,500 m. Here you can park your bike. Here you park your bike and start the hike to Piz Munschuns (2,657 m). The short ascent to the summit is initially flatter, later briefly steeper. At the top you can enjoy a fantastic view of the Samnaun valley (CH) and the Swiss side of the Ischgl-
Samnaun ski area.

Tip: Observe the opening hours of the cable car and buy a ticket in advance if necessary.

The autoroute (A12 (westbound) or A14 (eastbound)) leads you to the Arlbergschnellstraße (S 16). At the exit for Pians, turn onto the Paznauntalstraße (B 188) and follow its course into the Paznaun.

With the railway station in Landeck, the Paznaun is optimally connected to the Austrian train network. From Landeck-Zams station, only a short bus ride separates you from the Paznaun. Every half hour, line bus 260 runs from there through the valley. Bus stop: Silvrettabahn
