You are a hardworking and adaptable à la carte chef with an honest, respectful, and easy-going attitude. Teamwork and creativity are among your strengths. You are able to follow instructions and use common sense. You are interested in seasonal work. You are ready to work with a pleasant and friendly team to delight our international guests with delicious dishes, primarily from Austrian cuisine. You appreciate a structured kitchen workflow with consistent daily quality and can handle the demands of an à la carte kitchen even during busy periods, remaining calm and focused. Working as a team in our à la carte kitchen

Various positions need to be filled, such as:

either entremetier/side dish station or garde manger/appetizer station

We are only open in the evenings and our chefs do NOT work split shifts.

Working hours:

14:00/14:30 h - approx. 23:00 h daily, minus daily break, 1 fixed day off per week (Tuesday 99%)

Mise en place in the afternoon

Service hours from 5:30 pm

Closed on December 24th (Christmas) and December 31st (New Year's Eve).

Training as a cook with completed apprenticeship according to Austrian or German training or equivalent qualified training from another country
Alternatively, a well-trained person with several years of cooking experience (NOT a kebab or fast food restaurant); a good, experienced, and skilled kitchen worker is also acceptable.
Alternatively, hotel management training with a focus on kitchen and à la carte experience.
Experience in the catering industry, preferably in à la carte and restaurant settings (NOT kebab or fast food restaurants)
Prompt implementation of the instructions of the head chef and management

Language skills: German is advantageous, but at least very good English must be spoken and understood!!
For non-EU citizens: To obtain a valid work permit, you must submit your apprenticeship certificates and graduation certificates from your chef training. These certificates must be translated into German by a certified translator. If we do not receive these documents, we unfortunately cannot consider your application.
For non-EU citizens: Working holiday visas are permitted, but must be applied for personally by the candidates!
